Nuzlocke-Challenge Awards time!!!

So, I've been teasing at it for a while, and now I think it's time to officially open our first awards events!  Get excited people!  It's time to recognize the best of what our community has to offer. =-)

***DISCLAIMER: this awards event is not tied in to the Year-End Extravaganzas held by the official Nuzlocke forums in any way!  Different organizers, and different pools of members, as we know many people here on dA are not on the official forums.  We've also specifically tried to highlight different kinds of awards to distance ourselves from the Extravaganzas - that's why there are less skill-based awards here and more community-oriented awards - and why we're doing this in summer instead of winter.  We're not trying to compete with the forums at all.  They'd crush us anyway. X-D***

For a quick summary of how this will work: we'll have about a month of open nominations first, where everyone in the group can nominate whoever they want for any of awards categories.  Once the nominations period is over, an awards committee will be selected, and they will deliberate to decide on the winners from the top nominees.  We thought this would be a good balance between letting everyone get involved and preventing any potential "popularity contests".  Sound good?

Okay!  So, you want to start making your nominations now, right?  Below is the list of all the awards we'll be giving.  You can make up to three nominations per award; copy the list below and paste it into a note to send to the group (please refrain from nominating yourself for anything).  Don't worry if you can't fill it out completely just yet, or if you think you might change your mind - if you ever just want to add to or change your nominations ballot, just reply to your first note with your updated ballot!

Best protagonist character (main character, team member, ally, etc.)

Best antagonist character (rival, villainous team leader, any of their Pokemon, etc.)

Best neutral character (NPC, gym leader, recurring legendary, etc.)

Best canon relationship (romantic, antagonistic, teammates - as long as it's "official" within the context of a comic/story)

Best non-canon relationship (any unofficial pairings made popular by creators/fans, including cross-canon relationships between characters from different creators)

Best art style (that artists that makes you drool just looking at their comic/animations)

Best writing style (the writers who weaves words oh so wonderfully, through full stories or amazing screenshot narration) Note: this is NOT "best storytelling" - that's divided between the three awards below.  This is for the written-word-based Nuzlockes.

Best drama/Most intense (storytelling that has you on the edge of your seat, or really brings out the feels)

Best comedy/Funniest (the Nuzlockes that always have you laughing with every update)

Best adventure/Most fun (these are the 'lockes that always have you smiling and wanting to play along)

Top producer (these people have incredibly profilic - they've made so much Nuzlocke for you to read!)

Super Pokefan (these people don't just Nuzlocke - they've got a ton of other Pokemon art and/or actively trade/battle with other group members with their games)

Since this is our first awards ceremony, we aren't going to put a time limit on who you can nominate - however long it's been since a story/creator has been inactive, they're eligible this first time around!
*Need help remember what events we've had?  Well, there's the Spring '12 Battle trade, the Nuzlocke Challenge Olympics, the Fall '12 Halloween collab, the NOCT1, and the current Monotype tournament!  (btw, the Tournament now has hit the 50 battles mark!)
